4 Ingredient Bison Sliders

Here is a new healthy, easy, and delicious way to satisfy any burger craving!   Bison sliders that only need 4 ingredients and less than 20 minutes to prepare.  If you have never cooked with ground bison give it a try not only does it have less fat and calories than ground beef its a fantastic source of iron.   Personally I like how lean it tastes.  It doesn't have any of the greasiness that you get with ground beef.  Just as always please make sure you are purchasing grass fed.  You could make this recipe into regular sized burgers but I like how with sliders I am allowed to eat more!  The sliders look so pretty with a slice of roasted red pepper you could even serve to guests at a summer BBQ.  If any of you have great bison recipes please share them with me!

Ingredients
  • 1 pound grass fed ground bison meat
  • 2 jalapenos  (I took the seeds out so my burgers were not spicy.  If you prefer spice leave seeds in or roast peppers)
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small shallot
Directions
  • Mix ground meat with diced peppers and shallot,  grate the garlic in so you don't have chunks in your burgers
  • form 8 patties of similar size so they have a consistent cooking time
  • place on the grill for 4 mins on each side (watch them bison cooks faster than beef)
  • serve with a slice of roasted red pepper

4 Ingredients!

mixing together

divide into sliders

8 mini burgers ready to grill

4 mins on each side for medium rare
