PLP goes Asian?!

Confession I'm not a huge Asian or Chinese food girl.  I love a good sushi chowfest but other than that I never eat it.  A typical Chinese takeout dish is loaded with saturated fat, calories, and sodium.  Even the veggies taste salty and unhealthy!  Not to mention white rice... NEVER!  So I got to thinking that I should attempt my own Asian creation.  We don't have a wok or anything fancy so I had to make do.  I was extremely pleased with the results of my first stir fry so I have to share the recipe with everyone.

PLP Chicken Stir Fry
Ingredients
  • 7 chicken breasts
  • organic chopped ginger
  • 5 cloves garlic
  •  pinch of salt
  • pinch of pepper
  •  teaspoon honey
  • sesame seeds
  • red pepper
  • yellow pepper
  • shitake mushrooms
  • carrot chips
  • broccoli
  • red onion
  • sriracha
Start by marinating the chicken in the ginger, garlic, salt, pepper, honey, and sesame. (I let it soak in for 4 hours)
Chop all the veggies
Get a pan or wok hot and add 1 tablespoon walnut oil
Add chicken and cook with a few squirts of the sriracha
Do the same with the veggies in another pan
When the chicken is cooked add the veggies into the pan with meat
Enjoy!!
