I made this salad last night and it was a HUGE hit!! Pete said it was one of the best salads he has ever had! Its no surprise we love chopped salad and have it at least once a week so I am so glad to have this new recipe to add to the mix. The flavors are perfect for fall. I pinned it and finally got around to making it. However I changed the recipe a tad by adding the chicken since it was an entree for us. Best part is the salad only needs 7 ingredients! I bought my chicken already cooked and shredded off the salad bar so all I had to do was cook the bacon. Easy, delicious, and healthy!
Ingredients
- Romaine diced
- 2 cups chicken
- 1 package of bacon, put on a cookie sheet in the oven for 20 mins at 400 and then crumble
- 1 cup pecans chopped
- 2 pears diced
- 1 cup feta cheese
- 1 cup dried cranberries
